2011 aged roasted oolong cake
👂👂 surprise, surprise! dropping an EXTREMELY limited batch of aged roasted oolong cakes from 2011. these puppies have been sweetly maturing in Taiwan at Uncle’s place for nearly a decade. i’ve copped a few for our delight.
flavor wise, this cake tastes somewhere in-between our red oolong and a shou pu’er. a very clean tasting brew!
Origin : Shanlinxi, Lugu township, Nantou county, Taiwan
Organic tea farm
Elevation : 1400 meters
Cultivar : Qingxin (青心)
Harvest : 2011
Oxidation : 10%
Roast: roasted for ~20 hrs, then pressed into cakes
Weight: 375g
Recommended: Steep 4g / 208 degrees / 45 sec / multiple brews
